White Nancy, Bollington

In 2017, shortly after the Manchester bombing, this local landmark ‘White Nancy’, set on the hill, was adorned with a painting of the Manchester Bee. A symbol of solidatrity amidst the horrific event.

This painting captures the iconic landmark with Manchester in the background. It seemed fitting to link this piece with a Manchester charity, in support of the City that I so love. It's a place that has provided me with so much inspiration over the years. My chosen charity is ‘WE LOVE MCR CHARITY’, aims to support and improve the lives of Manchester people.
